Chosen by Matt Graveling as his favourite ever goal:

While this isn’t the most famous goal in Southampton’s history, that honour goes to Bobby Stokes’ 1976 FA Cup winner, for me, it’s the one most Saints’ fans hold closest to their heart. After more than a century playing our home games at the Dell, the scene was set for a farewell match against Arsenal. However, the Gunners clearly hadn’t read the script with Ashley Cole and Freddie Ljungberg putting the away side ahead only for our Moroccan magician Hassan Kachloul to twice level things up. With the leaving party almost over, Southampton’s talismanic midfielder Matt Le Tissier was brought on for 15 minutes to say his own farewell to the iconic ground. As the game entered its final seconds, the fans were given a fairytale ending as a huge kick from goalie Paul Jones was knocked on by James Beattie. Some confusion in the box saw the ball fall to Le Tissier who dispatched the sweetest of strikes into the top left corner. The whistle blew and the curtain came down on our home of one hundred years, and the final act was reserved for the man who did things that no other player could do, a Southampton legend, Le God.
